Marvell's Wireless group is looking for an Engineering Program Manager position. The EPM manages multiple semiconductor & embedded SW projects within the development organization. The EPM coordinates and facilitates the specification, design, fabrication, assembly, bench validation, qualification testing, internal and external customer sampling, and new product introduction. The EPM partners with Marvell's Marketing and Operations teams to coordinate and drive product development from concept to mass production.

Responsibilities include:
• Create and maintain schedules for multiple projects
• Organize and chair project meetings
• Identify and track issues, risks, and action items, and drive to closure
• Plan and manage Engineering wafer requirements, such as fab process, wafer quantities and schedules, fab cycle times, special handling and shipping instructions
• Plan and manage Engineering IC assembly requirements, such as packaging and bonding options, assembly cycle times, build quantities and schedules, chip markings, and shipping instructions
• Plan and manage System HW and IC resources among various teams
• Manage manufacturing part numbers from birth to EOL
• Ensure that our Quality System processes are being followed

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree [Electrical Engineering preferred]
• 5 years experience of Project Management in the Semiconductor industry, including New Product Introduction.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with cross functional teams
• Team leadership capability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible and able to work with global product development teams
• Experience with IC, system hardware, and embedded software development
• High proficiency with MS Office suite
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001
• Familiarity with Wireless standards
