Encore Capital Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager to help lead and coordinate one of Encore’s most significant strategic initiatives. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial and consultative mindset to help build a new business line within a well-established organization. The initiative is being led by a team of fast-paced, dynamic individuals looking to have a significant impact on Encore’s business. The team accomplishes its goals through persistence and creative problem solving while utilizing the best systems, technology, and processes available. We are looking for a candidate that has the ability to anticipate roadblocks, facilitate decision making in a complex environment, refine business objectives, and encourage engagement and cohesion across the team.

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for several major aspects of the program including:

GOVERNANCE
Management of the relationship between senior leaders and the execution of the initiative
Ownership of processes including communication, program prioritization and decision making

PLANNING
Development of overall department goals to meet strategic objectives
Consolidation of the program's projects and integration with business operations

MANAGEMENT
Coordination, organization, and administration of program work, implementation of new business processes, periodic review of program progress and results, and ensuring constant momentum by removing roadblocks and interpreting policy while building consensus among channel leaders

INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROCESS
Collaboration with operations and technology leaders to implement new business processes through business process design, resolving process breakdowns, and optimizing business process improvement across operations and technology teams

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
• Strong critical thinking, communication skills, business acumen, and tenacity
• Ability to conceptualize novel processes and production barriers by asking probing questions
• Excellent decision quality
• Strong organizational skills
• Resourceful and resilient within an environment of constant change
• Consulting background in accounting, auditing or controls is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project , SharePoint, and Visio
• PGMP or PMP/PMI Certification
• Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or Scrum Certification
• Bachelor’s degree required, graduate work with an emphasis in management science, operations management, or information technology preferred
